Cookie Policy
1What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. “Similar technologies” include local storage, pixels, tags, and SDKs. They can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by another provider), and either session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (kept for a set period). We use the word “cookies” below to cover all of these.
2Types we use
- Strictly necessary — required to serve the site securely and remember your cookie choices. These do not need consent.
- Preferences — remember choices such as language or region to improve your experience.
- Analytics / performance — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Set only with consent where required.
- Marketing — measure campaigns or show relevant content. Set only with consent.
3Cookies & technologies currently in use
| Name / provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
haidrun_consent (first-party) |
Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choices so we don’t ask on every page. | 180 days |
| Web fonts (self-hosted) | Strictly necessary (no cookie) | Typefaces are served from our own domain — no third-party font request and no IP is shared with a font provider. | Cached by your browser |
| Netlify (hosting / CDN) | Strictly necessary | Serves and secures the site; may process request/log data and, for some features, set an essential cookie. | Session / per request |
4Third-party providers
Some technologies are provided by third parties that process data under their own privacy terms — currently our hosting/CDN provider. Our web fonts are self-hosted, so no font request is made to a third party. If we later embed scheduling, video, chat, or analytics tools, those providers will be listed here. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data and international transfers.
5Consent by region
In the EU/EEA and UK, we set non-essential cookies only after you give prior consent, and you can withdraw it at any time. In the United States, you can opt out of non-essential cookies and, where applicable, of “sale”/“sharing” (we do neither). In the UAE, Singapore, and other regions, we handle cookies in line with local requirements, obtaining consent where required. Strictly necessary cookies are used on all versions of the site without consent.
6Managing your cookies
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings — blocking or deleting them — though strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to work. Guidance is available in your browser’s help pages, and general information about cookies and opt-outs can be found at resources such as aboutcookies.org.
7Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our use of cookies changes and revise the “Last updated” date above.
