Haidrun Passport helps to meet the EU's

newrequirements on reporting how products are

manufactured and recycled

The EU’s new regulation on ecodesign requirements for sustainable products (ESPR) aims to reduce products’ negative environmental impact throughout their entire life cycle. It also aims to help consumers make informed product choices in their purchasing decisions. The regulation and its framework shall also contribute to increasing the availability and demand for sustainable goods, achieving sustainable production and ensuring a level playing field for products sold on the EU’s internal market.

What is a digital product passport (DPP)?

A digital product passport (DPP) is digital documentation that shall contain information about how a product has been manufactured, what it consists of and how it is recycled. The requirements for the content vary depending on the type of product and the EU will adopt delegated acts where the requirements for each product are compiled.
